this recipe was one my mom used alot...I grew up on all kinds of Army bases and my mom would never know how many guys my dad would be bringing home with him...He was the platoon "FATHER" and we always had a bunch at tthe house for supper. I have added a couple of items to it to make it my own.With winter coming on this will be one of my GO TO recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 10 ounces frozen corn
  • 9 ounces frozen green beans
  • 4 cups v 8 juice..spicy or regular
  • 14 1/2 ounces italian stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon basil, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How To Make pam's zesty crockpot beef and vegetable soup

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, cook beef, onions, and garlic until meat is brown and onions are tender. Drain.
  • Step 2
    In crockpot, mix remaining ingredients. Add beef mixture and mix well.
  • Step 3
    cook on low for 8 or 9 hours or high for 5 hours.
