Oz's Dirty Rice

Kellie Parker

I love Dirty Rice.. never had made it til i moved to South Carolina. my first time making it i wanted to make cornbread with it... I had made the Rice then after I did that i made the cornbread mix and put it in the oven ....25 minutes later ..the cornbread was not even warm ..lol. my oven went out..so i took the cornbread mixture out of the oven ..turned on my griddles and made hoe cakes(corn bread pancakes) that worked better then i thought it would. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we all do.
