Larry & Wanda Enderes - This is Larry's favorite recipe for flat hamburgers. When Teri was in 1st grade a girlfriend was coming home to stay overnight and wanted to know what we were having for supper. I said Owl Eyes and Crow's Feet; she wasn't sure if it was a good idea that she was with us. She still asks if we have Owl Eyes and Crow's Feet.

Ingredients

  • 1-1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    saltine crackers, crushed
  • 1
    egg
  • dash(es)
    garlic salt
  • dash(es)
    onion salt
  • 30
    inches of wax paper

How to Make Owl Eyes and Crow's Feet

Step-by-Step

  1. In large bowl combine ground beef, 1/2 lb crushed crackers, egg, onion salt and garlic salt. Mix well and form into balls, egg size. Should make 12-20 balls.
  2. Between the wax paper, roll out the balls on 1/4 c. of cracker crumbs, until 14/ inch thick, turning over and over to get crackers on both sides
  3. Fry on hot pan or outside grill.
