This is a good brisket to make if you don't feel like grilling. It can be cooking while you get things done around the house.

    beef brisket
  • 1/4 c
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1/4 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Oven Brisket


  1. Cut slits in brisket. Place in dish and pour liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce over it. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients. Let it marinade overnight in the refrigerator. To cook: Take out and set till room temperature. Place in 250 degree oven and bake covered for 4-6 hours. till tender.
  2. sauce: Spread on top last two hours of cooking:
    1/4 cup chili sauce and 1 cup of bbq sauce mixed together.
