Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef chuck, boneless, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1-1/3 cup carrot, sliced
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) whole peeled tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 envelope beefy onion or onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 package (8 ounces) noodles, cooked
How To Make oven baked beef bourguignonne

Step 1In a 2 quart casserole, toss beef with flour, then bake uncovered 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Add carrots, tomatoes and bay leaf, then beefy onion soup mix blended with wine.

Step 2Bake covered 1-1/2 hours or until beef is tender. Add mushrooms and bake covered 10 minutes more. Remove bay leaf.

Step 3Serve over cooked noodles.
