our family's favorite meatloaf

A family favorite and most requested for Sunday Dinners. The combination of beef, veal and pork make for a very tasty meal. The seasonings will leave you asking for more helpings of this. IF and that's a big IF there is any leftover, try making some Meatloaf Sandwiches. Put a little Coleslaw on top and then add your bun. You can use hamburger bun or just regular loaf bread for sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground veal
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 2 cups fresh bread crumbs, cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup

How To Make our family's favorite meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350. Spray 9x5" loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In large bowl, combine beef, veal, pork and bread cubes; mix well. In another large bowl, combine milk, egg and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. Pour milk mixture into beef mixture; mix well.
  • Step 3
    In small bowl, combine onion, salt, pepper, mustard, sage, celery salt and garlic salt; mix well. Stir into meat mixture.
  • Step 4
    Form mixture into loaf pan; drizzle with ketchup. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160 degrees.
