I make this quite often for company and I NEVER have left overs. People not only go back for seconds, but thirds too. It's very simple and tastes like you really worked hard. I pair this with my Sesame-Ginger Rice that is also posted here. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    flank steak
  • 1/4 c
    green onions, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame seed, toasted
  • 3/4 c
    barbeque sauce
  • 1
    garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger

How to Make Oriental Grilled Flank Steak

Step-by-Step

  1. Score steak on both sides.
  2. Place in a ziploc gal. bag and pour combined ingredients over steak.
  3. Marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours or overnight, turning once.
  4. Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade. Pre-heat grill to med-high.
  5. Grill 15 to 20 minutes or until desired doneness. Slice diagonally on the grain, into 1/4" thick strips. Serve over Sesame Ginger Rice.
