oriental grilled flank steak

I make this quite often for company and I NEVER have left overs. People not only go back for seconds, but thirds too. It's very simple and tastes like you really worked hard. I pair this with my Sesame-Ginger Rice that is also posted here. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seed, toasted
  • 3/4 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 - garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

How To Make oriental grilled flank steak

  • Step 1
    Score steak on both sides.
  • Step 2
    Place in a ziploc gal. bag and pour combined ingredients over steak.
  • Step 3
    Marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours or overnight, turning once.
  • Step 4
    Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade. Pre-heat grill to med-high.
  • Step 5
    Grill 15 to 20 minutes or until desired doneness. Slice diagonally on the grain, into 1/4" thick strips. Serve over Sesame Ginger Rice.
