- 1 small head cauliflower
- 1 medium green pepper, seeded, cut into small strips
- 1 pound tenderloin tip or round steak cut into 3 inch paper thin strips
- 1 - clove garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 6 ounces frozen pea pods
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons instant beef bouillon
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
How To Make oriental beef and pea pods

Step 1Break cauliflower into flowerets; cut each into 1/4-inch slices.

Step 2Combine cauliflower, green pepper, beef, garlic and onion in 2-quart casserole.

Step 3Drizzle with soy sauce; stir lightly to coat evenly.

Step 4Cover and microwave on high (100%) 6 minutes; stir.

Step 5Cover and microwave until meat is no longer pink, 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 6Add frozen pea pods.

Step 7Cover and microwave until pea pods are thawed, 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 8Mix water, cornstarch, bouillon and sugar in 4-cup glass measure.

Step 9Stir in juices from meat.

Step 10Microwave uncovered on high (100%) 2 1/2 minutes; stir.

Step 11Microwave to boiling, 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 12Stir into meat mixture.
