me and my Sister find this recipe years ago ,and made it.very good

flank steak
1 Tbsp
italian seasoning
1 1/4 tsp
3/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
crushed peppercorn melange(black,white,green,pink peppercorn mix)
1/2 c
sour cream
4 tsp
perpared horseradish
1 Tbsp
chopped fresh parsey
2 tsp
white vinegar
1 pkg
(6oz) arugula leaves (crushed)
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1 box
gralic texas toast

How to Make Open-Faced Grilled Steak Sandwich


  • 1prepare grill for direct-heat cooking or position broiler rack so that meat on rack in pan is 4 inches from heat source,preheat broiler.
  • 2in bowl combine seasoning,salt,garlic powder and peppercorns. In another bowl mix sour cream,horseradish,parsley,vinegar and 1/4 tsp seasoning mixture refrigerate
  • 3stir oil into remaining seasoning mixture until blended with fork,rub both side of the steak with remaining seasoned-oil mixture.Grill or broil turning once 7 to 8 mins per side for medium-rare. let stand 10mins before slicing. grill or heat toast according to package directions, Top each piece of toast with arugula,steak slices and sauce
  • 4i think we left off the arugula cause couldn't find it ,but was still good
