1/4 cvegetable oil
2 lbonions, sliced
How to Make Onion Smothered Brisket
- Mix garlic powder, paprika and pepper and rub into brisket.
- Heat oil in dutch oven and sear brisket on all sides.
- Remove and set aside.
- Saute onions in dutch oven.
- Replace brisket and cover totally with onions.
- Cover tightly and place in 275 degree oven for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
