Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 can 15 ounce hunts tomato sauce
- 1 can 15 ounce chili beans, undrained
- 1 can 3 ounce french fried onions
- 1 cup crushed corn chips
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- - onions chopped (optional)
- - may substitute tomato soup for sauce, but add a small amount of tomato juice or 1/2 cup to 1 cup salsa
How To Make one-pan taco casserole

Step 1Brown beef. Drain. Add tomato sauce, chili beans and half of the french fried onions. mix well.

Step 2Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Add chopped onions if using half way through cooking time.

Step 3Stir in remaining french fried onions and corn chips. Remove from heat. Sprinkle lettuce around edge of pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Serve with sour cream.
