Ingredients

1/2 lb
ground beef
1 can(s)
15 ounce hunts tomato sauce
1 can(s)
15 ounce chili beans, undrained
1 can(s)
3 ounce french fried onions
1 c
crushed corn chips
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c
shredded lettuce
1/2 c
sour cream
onions chopped (optional)
may substitute tomato soup for sauce, but add a small amount of tomato juice or 1/2 cup to 1 cup salsa

How to Make One-Pan Taco Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown beef. Drain. Add tomato sauce, chili beans and half of the french fried onions. mix well.
  • 2Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Add chopped onions if using half way through cooking time.
  • 3Stir in remaining french fried onions and corn chips. Remove from heat.

    Sprinkle lettuce around edge of pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Serve with sour cream.
