I wanted a hamburger and my husband wanted mexican food. So we came up with this recipe as a compromise. It was delicious.

How to Make Ole' Burgers

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix together the ground meat and taco seasoning. I think it's better to let it sit in the fridge covered for at least an hour for the flavors to marry, but it's o.k. if you don't. Form into patties.
  2. Grill burgers to your desired doneness. Top with cheese to melt.
  3. Serve on a toasted bun. Dress with remaining ingredients. Even add some of your own.
