Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
- 3 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2/3 cup homemade italian breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
How To Make old fashioned meatloaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Step 2In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, and all other ingredients except ketchup and worcestershire sauce Mix with hands until its all combined

Step 3Coat a loaf pan or baking sheet with olive oil cooking spray. Place meat mixture in pan and shape

Step 4Bake for 40 minutes

Step 5mix ketchup and worcestershire sauce together and cover the meatloaf with the sauce. Bake for an additional 20 minutes

Step 6To make Italian breadcrumbs: Take 6-8 slices of italian bread and break into small chunks, place in a single layer on a baking sheet Bake for about 15 minutes and stir a couple times. They are ready when they are light brown Make sure they are completely dry let them cool completely place in a ziploc bag and smash till very fine place in a bowl and combine the following 2 tsp dried parsley 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp ground pepper
