oven roasting bag
6 lb
beef brisket
1 oz package dry onion soup mix
1/4 c
liquid smoke flavoring
3 Tbsp
liquid smoke flavoring
1 can(s)
beef broth
1 tsp
garlic powder
2 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 c
all-purpose flour


1Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
2Coat the inside of an oven roasting bag with flour. Lay bag in a
broiling pan. Place brisket inside of bag. Pour liquid smoke over the
brisket and sprinkle on garlic powder, dry onion soup mix, and ground black
pepper. Pour in beef broth. Seal bag. Using a fork, make two sets of holes
in the top of the roasting bag.
3Bake in a preheated oven for 7 to 8 hours.
