This is one of my many meatball recipes, and are always welcomed by my family and friends. Doubling the recipe makes enough to freeze for a later time. Enjoy!

prep time 10 Min
cook time 30 Min
method Saute
yield 20 meatballs

Ingredients

  • I USUALLY DOUBLE RECIPE FOR LEFTOVERS AND THEY FREEZE WELL TOO
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 2 - beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup fine chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup fresh minced parsley
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt & pepper
  • Oil - for browning
  • Your - favorite sauce

How To Make ~ now that's some tasty meatballs ~

  • Step 1
In a medium bowl, add the first 9 ingredients and blend just until everything is incorporated. I use my fingers.
  • Step 2
In a large skillet add about 1/4 cup of oil and turn heat to medium - med high. Roll meatballs, about the size of a golf ball. Place in hot grease and using a large spoon, turn as they brown. Once all are browned, drain on paper towel...
  • Step 3
Place the meatballs into your favorite sauce ( I sprinkle with a little shredded parm.) and simmer for about 20 minutes, making sure meatballs are completely cooked in the center. Serve with spaghetti or are delicious in a meatball hoagie!
