I SAW THIS RECIPE ON A SHOW AND MODIFIED IT. MY HUSBAND CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT-AND THAT'S RARE!!

Ingredients

  • 2 - boneless new york steaks
  • 1 HALF - yellow onion
  • 1 - pasillas pepper
  • 1 - anaheim pepper
  • 1 - jalapeno pepper
  • 1 - container of sliced button mushrooms
  • 3/4 CUP - heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 CAN - beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

How To Make not your regular pepper steak-better!!!

  • Step 1
    OK GET ALL OF YOUR VEGES. NEXT TO YOUR CHOPPING BOARD- SLICE THE TOPS OFF YOUR PEPPERS AND REMOVE ALL OF THE SEEDS. SLICE JULIENNE STYLE (THIN LONG SLIVERS) SLICE YOUR ONION THINLY ALSO.
  • Step 2
    NEXT HEAT UP YOU SKILLET TO HIGH HEAT AND ADD BUTTER. SALT AND PEPPER YOUR STEAKS AND PLACE THEM IN YOUR SKILLET WHEN BUTTER IS MELTED- SEAR THEM FOR ABOUT 2 MINS. ON EACH SIDE. REMOVE AND SET ASIDE.
  • Step 3
    ADD ALL OF YOUR VEGETABLES TO YOUR SKILLET (YOU MIGHT WANT TO ADD ANOTHER TABLESPOON OF BUTTER). SAUTEE YOUR VEGES. FOR ABOUT 3 MINS.IN THE SAME SKILLET, THEN ADD YOUR BEEF BROTH. COOK ON MEDIUM/HIGH HEAT FOR ABOUT 10 MINS. UNTIL IT STARTS TO REDUCE ,THEN ADD YOUR HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM. SAUTEE UNTIL IT THICKENS AND VEGES. ARE LIMP.
  • Step 4
    IF YOU HAVE A GRILL PAN- HEAT IT TILL VERY HOT AND PLACE YOUR STEAKS ON THERE, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GRILL PAN ANY SKILLET WILL DO AS LONG AS IT'S HOT. COOK FOR ABOUT 4/5 MINS. ON EACH SIDE FOR YOUR STEAKS TO BE MEDIUM.
  • Step 5
    TAKE YOUR STEAKS AND PLACE THEM IN A DISH AND POOR YOUR VEGES, AND SAUCE OVER THEM. SERVE WITH MASHED POTATOES.OOOOHH SOO GOOD! SOUNDS SPICY BUT IT'S NOT
