the only thing that I kept from my mother's meatloaf is the whole hard boiled egg in the center and, of course, the meat.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon bbq sauce
- 1 - egg
- 2 teaspoons milk
- 1 - hard boiled egg
- - ketchup and bbq sauce for glaze
How To Make not my mom's meatloaf

Step 1preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2mix together the first 6 ingredients. Form onto a rectangular loaf. With side of hand, make an indentation in center of loaf. Place hard boiled egg in meat. Cover and re-form loaf. Place in rectangular baking pan ( not a loaf pan). spread a mixture of 1/2 ketchup and 1/2 BBQ sauce (to your taste)on top of loaf. Bake 45 minutes uncovered. Let stand 5 at least five minutes before serving.
