2 lbstew beef,cut in cubes
1 pkgdry onion soup mix
1 10 ozcan mushroom soup
1 can(s)mushroom pieces-water removed
3 ccelery chopped-optional
·rice as needed -in amount to suit number of people
How to Make no peek stew
- make sure that the celery is washed,then chopped- I added this as an extra- because I like celery.
- place the rest of the ingredients in a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish in order given
- Bake at 300*F for 3 hours.Do not peek! Let stand for 15 minutes.
- Serve on a bed of rice- I like brown rice the best with wild rice added.You can easily double the recipe-but remember to increase the size of your casserole dish.I haven't tried this yet in a slow cooker but would imagine that it could be done
