  • 1
    medium onion chopped
  • 3/4 c
    diced celery
  • 3 c
    soft bread cubes
  • 1/2 c
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 c
    diced green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    tomato juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter

How to Make Stuffing "Stuffed " Meat Loaf


  1. To make dressing:
    brown in 1/4 cup fat, onion and celery.
    Mix with:
    bread cubes,water, eggs,green pepper and salt.
    Mix: ground pork and ground beef together.
  2. Pat out 1/2 of meat mixture into a 10x5x3 loaf pan.
    Cover with the dressing.
    Then top dressing with the rest of the meat mixture.
  3. Bast with tomato juice and 2 Tablespoons melted butter.
    Bake at 350 for 1- 1/4 hours.
