Step-by-Step

  • 1Dredge steak in flour, season with salt and pepper if desired.
  • 2Heat oil in large skillet.
  • 3Brown onions, garlic and meat.
  • 4Pour ketchup over meat.
  • 5Cover pan and cook until tender on medium heat.
  • 6Should take at least an hour.
  • 7Meat should be very tender.
  • 8Check to make sure that it doesn't burn.
  • 9If it looks like it is going to, add water or broth if you have it available.
