I have made this for years. My bestfriend just loves it. Though I have giving her the recipe. She just cann't get it right. Could be because I season by taste not by measuring the spices.

Ingredients For my pot roast.

  • 2-3 lb
    pot roast
  • 1 box
    dry onion soup mix (2 envoples)
  • 1 box
    dry beffy mushroom soup mix.
  • 1 pkg
    baby peeled carrots
  • 2 md
    green bell peppers
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 4
    celery stalks
  • 6 md
    potatoes
  • 2 pkg
    sliced mushrooms or use 2 cans drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • spices that you like. i use what i have in my cabnet.
  • enough water to cover the whole thing.

How To Make my pot roast.

    Pre-Heat oven to 350
  • 2
    I then place my roast in the roaster and season it.

    Quarter onions,Chop celery, bell peppers, Cube the potatoes.

    Place onions,celery,carrots,mushrooms,peppers,garlic,and potatoes around the roast.

    Mix the soup mixes in warm water and pour over the roast until fully covered. Cover with lid. Let cook for 5 hours.
