I have made this for years. My bestfriend just loves it. Though I have giving her the recipe. She just cann't get it right. Could be because I season by taste not by measuring the spices.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds pot roast
  • 1 box dry onion soup mix (2 envoples)
  • 1 box dry beffy mushroom soup mix.
  • 1 package baby peeled carrots
  • 2 medium green bell peppers
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 - celery stalks
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 2 packages sliced mushrooms or use 2 cans drained
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • - spices that you like. i use what i have in my cabnet.
  • - enough water to cover the whole thing.

How To Make my pot roast.

  • Step 1
    Pre-Heat oven to 350
  • Step 2
    I then place my roast in the roaster and season it.
  • Step 3
    Quarter onions,Chop celery, bell peppers, Cube the potatoes.
  • Step 4
    Place onions,celery,carrots,mushrooms,peppers,garlic,and potatoes around the roast.
  • Step 5
    Mix the soup mixes in warm water and pour over the roast until fully covered. Cover with lid. Let cook for 5 hours.
