Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
meat loaf mix (ground beef, pork, veal
  • 1 pkg
    lean ground beef
  • 1 small
    onion
  • 1 small
    can of tomato paste
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 3-4 slice
    bacon cut in half

How to Make My Meatloaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all the ingredients except bacon in large bowl and mix together. Try not to handle it too much or it will cause it to be too tough. Place in a 13 x 9 baking dish and form into a loaf shape. Make a indentation down the middle. Put strips of bacon on top then add the ketchup sauce. (see recipe below) bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Enjoy
  2. 1 small bottle of ketchup, 1/2 cup brown sugar. Mix together until all the brown sugar is blended in! Put on top of meatloaf in the well that you made and over the bacon in the well.

Enjoy!! Great for a meatloaf sandwich the next day!!
