I heard this recipe on a radio show many years ago and make this for St. Patrick's day-and more often-ever since. If there are any leftovers, it makes great sandwiches.

Ingredients
- 1 5-7 pounds corned beef brisket
- 6 - peppercorns
- 4 - whole cloves
- 1 cup catsup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard

Step 1Place brisket in large pot. Cover with water and add peppercorns and cloves. Simmer 4 - 5 hours.

Step 2Remove brisket from water and place in a baking dish.

Step 3Combine remaining ingredients and stir in a small sauce pan until blended and bubbly.

Step 4Slather the entire brisket with the sauce and bake in a 350 oven for about 30 minutes, basting with remaining sauce several times.
