my homemade meatballs

I bake my meatballs in the oven, they brown nicely and don't fall apart as when you fry in the skillet. I hope you like the different ways you can use meatballs. enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds 80% lean ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs ( i use italian flavored)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
How To Make my homemade meatballs

Step 1mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion. and egg together. then make into meatballs the size of a golf ball or larger if you wish.

Step 2put on a cookie sheet and bake for about 15 min. or until browned. put on paper towel to absorb any juices and then go for your recipe.

Step 3note: the following are ideas for using meatballs. (1) add to a spaghetti sauce and cook for about 20 t0 30 min. for a nice spaghetti dinner. (2) make some beef gravy add meatballs and cook for about 20 to 30 min. serve over noodles (3) mushroom soup and sour cream mix well pour over beatballs and bake in a cassarole 350 degree oven for about 30 min. and serve over noodles. (4) put meatballs in a spaghetti sauce, heat thru then put meatballs and sauce in sub rolls and add shredded mozzarella cheese. put in a 35o oven just until cheese is melted.
