my favorite beef stroganoff

This is a combination of several stroganoff recipes. I'm a big fan of recipes that are fairly quick and easy, but taste like they have been cooked for hours. I use left over pot roast for this recipe. This is definitely one of our favorite go to dishes. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 package egg noodles
- 2 cups cooked shredded beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make my favorite beef stroganoff

Step 1Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook noodles according to package directions.

Step 2Meanwhile, saute mushrooms and onion in butter until golden.Deglaze pan with wine.

Step 3Add beef, beef broth and 1 cup sour cream. Stir until combined. Let simmer for 20-30 minutes. Stir frequently.

Step 4Add worcestshire sauce and season with salt and pepper. When done simmering stir in 1 cup sour cream before serving.

Step 5Serve over noodles. Enjoy!
