Ingredients
- 3-5 pounds brisket or other lean pot roast cut
- 1 can cranberry sauce (whole or jellied)
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
How To Make my ex mother-in-law's pot roast

Step 1Place meat into a dutch oven or crock pot.

Step 2mash cranberry sauce on top and sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over meat.

Step 3Add water to just barely cover. Cook low and slow until "falling apart done" for 3+ hours in dutch oven or 8 hours in the crockpot. Serve with noodles or buckwheat groats.
