mushroom meatloaf

Ingredients
- 1 can (3 oz) broiled chopped mushrooms
- 1 - slightly beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- - pimiento strips
- - milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons catsup
- - broiled mushroom crowns
How To Make mushroom meatloaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350F Drain chopped mushrooms, reserve the liquid. Add enough milk to the mushroom liquid to make 1/2 cup

Step 2Combine liquid, egg, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, and bread crumbs. Let stand about 5 minutes.

Step 3Stir in beef and chopped mushrooms, mix lightly but thoroughly.

Step 4Bake 1 hour in a 13x9x2 inch loaf pan. Combine catsup and corn syrup; brush on meatloaf. Bake 15 minutes more.

Step 5Garnish with mushrooms and pimiento.
