ground beef
eggs, beaten
1 c
saltine cracker crumbs
1 c
1/2 c
parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 c
onion, finely chopped
1.5 tsp
1 tsp
8 oz
pizza sauce
3 slice
mozzarella, slices
green bell pepper, optional
mushrooms, optional
butter, optional

How to Make Mozzarella Meat Loaf


  • 1Shape into a loaf and place in a greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan.
  • 2Bake at 350 for 1 1/4 hours or until no pink remains.
  • 3Drain.
  • 4Spoon pizza sauce over loaf and top with cheese slices.
  • 5Return to the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • 6Meanwhile, if desired, saute green pepper and mushrooms in butter.
  • 7Arrange on top of meat loaf.
