My girlfriend gave me this recipe. It feeds her family of 6 without any trouble. You can adjust the heat by increasing or decreasing the red pepper.

Ingredients
- MARINATE
- 2 pounds round steak, thin cut
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- SAUCE
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 5 teaspoons corn starch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
- 2 - medium white onions, wedge sliced
- 2 bunches green onions, chopped
- 4 tablespoons oil, divided in half
- SERVE WITH:
- - rice (white or brown)
- - or
- - lo mein noodles
How To Make mongolian beef

Step 1PREP: Cut round steak into thin slices (about 1/8 inch thick). Dice green onions into 1/2 inch pieces. Wedge cut white onions into 1/4 inch thick wedges.

Step 2MARINATE: Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and garlic in large bowl. Add beef and mix until beef is well covered. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Step 3SAUCE: In separate bowl, mix ingredients for sauce and set aside.

Step 4Heat 2 tablespoons of oil over high heat. Add marinated beef. Cook for 1-3 minutes. Remove from heat and return to bowl.

Step 5Heat remaining 2 tablespoons of oil. Add white and green onions. Cook for 2 minutes.

Step 6Stir in cooked beef & sauce. Cook until sauce boils and thickens.

Step 7Serve with rice or lo mein noodles.
