This is delicious. We enjoyed it very much. It has a mild flavor but if you would like it spicy, I am sure you could add a hot spice or oil and it would be great. This is husband approved!

2 Tbspplus 2 tsp soy sauce

2 Tbspplus 2 tsp brown sugar

1 tspsesame oil

1/8 tspground ginger

1 Tbspplus 2 tsp minced garlic

1 lbbeef stew meat
-
1 Tbspplus 1 1/4 teaspoon flour

1 Tbspplus 1/4 teaspoon olive oil

1/3 cbeef broth
-
1/4 cshredded carrots
-
1/2 tspcider vinegar
-
cooked rice or noodles, to serve

chopped green onion, to garnish
-
toasted sesame seeds, to garnish
How To Make mongolian beef in a dutch oven or crockpot

1In a Dutch oven, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Set aside.

2Toss the beef with the flour until evenly coated.

3In a frying pan, add the olive oil at medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, add the beef and carrots. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes or until beef is lightly browned.

4Add beef to your Dutch oven and mix with the soy sauce mixture already in there.

5Pour beef broth into frying pan and stir it around getting any bits stuck to the bottom. Then pour that into the Dutch oven and mix everything together.

6Put in 325 degree F oven and cook for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until beef is soft.

7Remove from oven and add cider vinegar. Stir and return to oven 10 - 15 minutes.

8Remove from oven. Put over rice or noodles. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.

9*If you want, to you could make this in a Crock Pot. Just cook on low 8 - 10 hours, or until beef is soft.
