  • 2 lb
    beef, sliced thin
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 c
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 2 clove
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    corn starch
  • 2 stalk(s)
    green onions, chopped

How to Make Mongolian Beef


  1. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, oil, water, garlic & scallions. set aside
  2. in another bowl combine the beef with corn starch, let sit a few mins.
  3. In a skillet, add a little bit of oil and brown the beef each side, add in sauce mixture let come to a boil, then reduce to low, cover and simmer 15 mins.. serve over rice.
