mom's meatloaf and baked potatoes

This was written down for my adult sons as they start to cook in their own kitchens!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 package lipton beefy onion dry soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons a1 steak sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs, dry or fresh
  • 1 large baking potato for each person

  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients together in large bowl leaving the ketchup for the final step
  • Step 3
    Shape into loaf in a large loaf pan or baking dish (9x11)
  • Step 4
    Bake for 45 minutes then spread ketchup on top for 14 minutes. Loaf should be firm the touch. drain fat from pan and let rest for 5 minutes. Remove potatoes and place in bowl this would be a good time to get remaining items on table.
