Ingredients For mom's meatloaf

1 lbground beef

1 mdonion, finely chopped

1egg
-
8 oztomato sauce, divided

1 1/2 cquick oats
-
1 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper,

1 Tbsprubbed sage

1 mdcarrot, finely shredded (optional)

1/2 mdgreen pepper, finely minced (optional)
How To Make mom's meatloaf

1Pre heat oven to 350

2In casserole dish or large loan pan,thoroughly mix together ground beef, onions, carrots, green pepper, salt, pepper, sage, egg, oats, and 1/2 the tomato sauce. if mixture seems too dry, ketchup or additional tomato sauce may be added.

3Top with remaining tomato sauce. Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 mins until center is no longer pink. Carrot and green peppers may be omitted, still gets a lot of compliments even without the added veggies.
