My mom found this recipe when I was a kid and I loved it. What is great about this dish is that you can get creative. Add to this wonderful basic recipe (i.e. vegetables and other seasonings) and make it yours.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Throw this cheeseburger pie together on a busy weeknight. It's a quick and easy meal with minimal ingredients. Onions enhance the flavor of the meat. Lots of cheese makes this casserole ooey gooey good. Everything is held together with an egg-like crust. Set out toppings that you'd have on a cheeseburger and let everyone top their plate with what they'd like. This is a great budget-friendly dinner.
