My husband and I always look forward to the cooler months so we can warm up with a bowl of "Mom's Chili"! This is a very mild chili and easy on the stomach.

Ingredients
- 2 lb - lean ground beef (93/7)
- 1/2 large sweet onion, chopped
- 2-16oz cans mild chili beans
- 2-16oz cans diced tomatoes
- 1 package dry mild chili seasoning
- 1/2-1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1-2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
How To Make mom's chili

Step 1Spray dutch oven with cooking spray. Brown ground beef with onions. Drain. (I rinse mine with hot water to remove any fat that might remain.)

Step 2Stir in chili seasoning, salt, pepper, cumin, and flour.

Step 3Add chili beans and tomatoes; stir. Add approximately 1/2 cup water to create the consistency that you like. Simmer for about 1 hour.

Step 4Serve with shredded cheese and oyster crackers. Enjoy!!!
