Mom's Quick and Easy Cheeseburger Pie
1 lbground beef
1/2-3/4 cfinely chopped onion (sweet)
1-2 clovegarlic, finely chopped
1/4 call purpose flour
1/3 cdill pickle juice
1/2-1 cdill pickle, finely chopped
2-2 1/2 ccheese, shredded
1 pkgrefrigerated pie crust
How to Make Mom's Quick and Easy Cheeseburger Pie
- Heat the oven to 425*. Place pie crust in glass pie pan (prick bottom of shell),bake for approx 15mins.
- Cook and brown beef (broken up into small pieces), onion, garlic in 10 inch skillet until brown; drain off grease. Sprinkle with salt and flour. Stir in pickle liquid, milk, pickles and 1-1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese (I use the package kind or grate my own off a block). Spoon into pie shell.
- Bake 15 mins; sprinkle the rest of shredded cheese over top. Bake until crust is golden brown, about 5 mins longer.
