Ingredients
- 1 - 9" pie crust
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 - small can of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup dried bread crumbs, seasoned
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
How To Make mom's cheeseburger pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Lightly bake empty pie shell, set aside.

Step 3Crumble ground beef into a large skillet. Saute over medium heat until brown and drain, then add onion, garlic and green pepper. Continue to saute until onion is clear. Mix in 1/2 c tomato sauce, bread crumbs, and seasoning salt. Spoon mixture into pastry shell.

Step 4In a medium bowl, mix together cheese, milk, worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Spread mixture over meat filling.

Step 5Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until topping is puffy and lightly browned. Allow to set for 10-15 minutes before serving.
