Ingredients For *** mom's cabbage casserole ***

  • 1 bag
    cabbage, shredded
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can
    milk (measured from soup can)
  • 1
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1 lb
    ground round, sirloin or chuck
  • shredded cheese, any kind

How To Make *** mom's cabbage casserole ***

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

    Saute meat, green pepper & onion; drain.
  • 3
    In a greased 13 x 9" baking dish, layer 1/2 bag of cabbage, spread meat mixture over cabbage. Put remaining cabbage over meat.

    Mix soup & 1/2 can of milk; mix well. Pour over top of casserole. Bake for 1 hour & spread cheese over top the last 10 minutes of cooking.
