My Mom made this when I was a kid. It was a favorite of my brother, Rocky, and me. Hope you like it too.

Ingredients
- 1 - large onion, cut lengthwise
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 can ben sprouts
- 1 1/2 cups celery cut into 1 inch pieces and then thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 - beef bouillon, cubes
How To Make mom's best beef chow mein casserole

Step 1Saute onion, celery and beef.

Step 2Add water and cornstarch. Stir until thinckened.

Step 3Add soy sauce, bouillion and bean sprouts. Mix well

Step 4Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with boiled rice and chow mein noodles.
