ground beef
seasoning salt to taste
onion salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1 1/2 c
seasoned bread crumbs
1/3 c
grated parmesan cheese


1 large
onion, sliced
3 Tbsp
3 small
cans tomato sauce
spaghetti seasoning to taste
onion salt to taste
1 dash(es)
worcestershire sauce
8 oz
mushrooms, drained
2 c
mozzarella cheese, shredded

How to Make Mock Parmigiana


  • 1Combine first 7 ingredients and shape into patties.
  • 2Set aside.
  • 3To make sauce, saute onion slices in 3 tablespoons butter until soft.
  • 4Add remaining ingredients for sauce.
  • 5Place patties in large baking pan in single layer and pour sauce over.
  • 6Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake one hour at 375.
  • 7After baking, remove foil, sprinkle each patty generously with the mozzarella cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted.
