    ground beef
  • 4
  • ·
    seasoning salt to taste
  • ·
    onion salt to taste
  • ·
    black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 c
    seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c
    grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 large
    onion, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 3 small
    cans tomato sauce
  • ·
    spaghetti seasoning to taste
  • ·
    onion salt to taste
  • 1 dash(es)
    worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms, drained
  • 2 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded

How to Make Mock Parmigiana


  1. Combine first 7 ingredients and shape into patties.
  2. Set aside.
  3. To make sauce, saute onion slices in 3 tablespoons butter until soft.
  4. Add remaining ingredients for sauce.
  5. Place patties in large baking pan in single layer and pour sauce over.
  6. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake one hour at 375.
  7. After baking, remove foil, sprinkle each patty generously with the mozzarella cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted.
