1/2 c
onion, finely chopped
1/4 c
green pepper, finely chopped
1/4 c
celery, finely chopped
1 lb
ground beef
1/4 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz
can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp
1 tsp
garlic salt

How to Make Mixy Burgers


  • 1Melt shortening. Add onion, green pepper, & celery~cook until soft and lightly browned. Set aside and cover to keep warm or
    Add beef and brown all together.
    Add remaining ingredients~simmer 10 minutes, until thickened, stirring occasionally. Spoon onto warm buns or toasted bread.
    *recipe can easily be doubled~ingredients adjusted more or less to suit your taste...just like gr'ma did!*
