mix it up chili
This looks like a lot of work, but really it isn't and its worth the effort. If you like your chili a little warm and a little different than this is one for you. I know it has a weird bunch of flavors all in one... but this is why I call it Mix it up Chili. Kind of like how my dad has always cooked. He was a cook in the Vietnam War and just learned to use what you had on hand, even if it was just mixing up a few things you never thought you would have put together. I hope you enjoy it as my family does.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound bulk italian sausage
- 1 can (29 oz) tomatoe sauce
- 1 can (16 oz) mild chili bean
- 1 can (14.5 oz) petite cut diced tomatoes with zesty jalapeno's
- 1 can ( 14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with basil,garlic and oregano
- 1 can (6 oz) tomatoe paste
- 1 can (15.5 oz) bush's chili magic traditional mild chili starter
- 1 can (16 oz) pinto beans
- 1 can (15 oz) pork n beans
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/2 large green bell pepper, seeded and diced
- 1/2 large red bell pepper, seeded and diced
- 1 tablespoon bacon bits
- 4 - cubes of beef bouillon
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 - bag of corn chips (optional)
- 1 - (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 small container of sour cream (optional)
How To Make mix it up chili

Step 1Crumble gound beef and sausage into frying pan. Cook until evenly browned. Drain off excess grease.

Step 2In a large crockpot, combined all the ingredients, don't drain juices from the canned beans. Stir and cover and cook on low heat for at least 8 hours. The longer it cooks the better it will taste as with any chili.

Step 3If you don't want to put in a crockpot, cook in a large stock pot, stir to blend, cover and simmer over low heat for at least 2 hours. Stirring occasionally.

Step 4Dish out in to bowls and top off with cheese, sour cream and corn chips.
