Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 1 - loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • 1/4 pound extra lean ground beef or turkey
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup taco sauce
  • 1/2 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup leaf lettuce, shredded
  • 3/4 cup tomatoes, seeded, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons nonfat sour cream, optional
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced

How To Make mighty mexican pizza

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 450.
  • Step 2
    Spray cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle evenly with 1-2 teaspoons of the cornmeal.
  • Step 4
    Divide dough into thirds.
  • Step 5
    Press or roll each into a 7\" circle.
  • Step 6
    Sprinkle evenly with rest of cornmeal.
  • Step 7
    Press lightly into crusts.
  • Step 8
    Place on coated cookie sheets.
  • Step 9
    Prick crusts generously with fork.
  • Step 10
    Bake at 450 for 8 minutes.

    (If crusts puff during baking, flatten slightly with spoon.)

    Meanwhile, in medium skillet brown ground beef and onion.
