Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 pounds cubed steak
  • 1 jar (8 oz) salsa (i like the chunky style)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 to 1 cups shreeded cheddar cheese

How To Make mexican swiss steak

  • Step 1
    Pour oil in skillet to get hot. In a ziplock bag mix flour, salt and pepper and shake well. Coat cube steak with flour and place in skillet. Cook both sides until lightly brown.
  • Step 2
    Spray a 9 x 13 inch cooking dish with Pam cooking spray. Add meat to dish. Cover with Salsa, onions, garlic and bell peppers.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and cook another 10 to 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
