  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    pretzel crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 4 oz
    can green chiles, seeded and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    chorizo sausage, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili seasoning
  • 2
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 8 oz
    monterey jack cheese
  • 2
    green peppers

How to Make Mexican Patties


  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Combine all ingredients, except cheese and the 2 green peppers, in a medium bowl until well blended.
  3. Make 10 meatballs with a 1 inch cube of jack cheese in the center of each.
  4. Cut peppers into quarters and remove seeds.
  5. Place meatballs into the center of each pepper and bake 20-30 minutes.
