mexican ole' hash brown casserole
Creating in the kitchen is what I love to do best. I took out ground beef to make a meat loaf but when I defrosted it , it cooked a little too much. I came up with this creation. I looked on site for a tater tot casserole and ended up with this dish...

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup frozen onions, green & red pepper or you can use fresh
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans soup can of milk
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup frozen corn or 1 can of mexican style corn drained
- 1 1/2 cups crushed nacho cheese doritoz
- 2 cups shredded mexican cheese
- 10 - hash brown potato patties
How To Make mexican ole' hash brown casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375F

Step 2In large skillet brown beef, onion, green pepper & red pepper. (I used the frozen blend). Add garlic , salt & pepper to taste.

Step 3Pour soup, milk, peas & corn: blend well. Place in a 13x9 in casserole dish.

Step 4Spread crushed doritos on top of hamburger mixture then spread cheese on top.

Step 5Place hash brown patties on top to fit. Bake for 45 minutes.

Step 6Turn on broiler and leave in 5-8 minutes so hash brown patties get crispy. Remove from oven and serve.
