Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces can green chiles, chopped, drained
  • 3/4 cup salsa

  • Step 1
    Combine meat, oats, eggs, worcestershire sauce and pepper; mix well.
  • Step 2
    On wax paper, press meat mixture into 20x10 1/2-inch rectangle.
  • Step 3
    Combine cream cheese and chiles; mix well.
  • Step 4
    Spread cream cheese mixture over meat mixture to within 1 inch of outer edge.
  • Step 5
    Roll, jelly roll fashion, starting at narrow end.
  • Step 6
    Place in 12x8 inch baking dish.
  • Step 7
    Bake at 350, 40 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Top with salsa; continue baking for 10 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
