This recipe's story is great and tasty! As I remember, I got it from the One Pot Meals for Diabetics and I wasn't too sure. Seemed like a strange combination. But Surprise! Bestest Bill just loves it. It's now our fave.

Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3/4 pound hamburger, leanest
- 3 cups potatoes, baked (nuke), chopped
- 1` can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 1/2 cups celery, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins, golden, soaked
- 1 - apple, very thinly sliced a good bite size :)
How To Make mexican hash

Step 1Brown meat,stirring with onion, garlic, cinnamon, cumin ~~ not too long, just so no pink.

Step 2Lightly salt potato cubes.

Step 3Stir in the potatoes and apples and tomatoes.

Step 4Finish off by stirring in the raisins and celery.

Step 5Keep hot ten minutes.
