I have had this recipe for at least 50 years. Good friends of ours would have us over for dinner. This was so cheap to fix because at that time we could buy hamburger 3#'s for $1.00...oh, how times have changed.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion-chopped
- - salt, pepper, garlic powder (i use fresh garlic)
- 2 small cans of kidney beans-drained
- 1 can enchilada sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 cup corn chips--fritos
How To Make mexican casserole

Step 1Cook ground beef and onion until done. Drain. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder.

Step 2Add kidney beans, enchilada sauce, cheese, chili powder, and corn chips. Stir to combine.

Step 3Put in a casserole and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Step 4Serve with a salad dressed with a nice Mexican type dressing.
