- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 - hot chili peppers
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 can cream-style corn
How To Make mexican beef casserole

Step 1Brown beef; add onions, peppers and cheese.

Step 2Sift together meal, salt and soda.

Step 3Combine sifted mixture with beaten eggs, buttermilk, oil and corn.

Step 4Pour half of the bread mixture in a deep greased skillet or casserole dish.

Step 5Add meat mixture and top with remaining bread mixture.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
